In my homepage I just want to talk about my two books - the famous ones

My Books

RIEFLER precision pendulum clocks from 1890 -1965 review.

For the 140th company anniversary in 1981 have mine

1. Book about the famous RIEFLER precision pendulum clocks written from

    1890 - 1965
2. Book for the 150th anniversary of the company In 1991 I have the book
about the famous RIEFLER precision pendulum clocks written from 1890 -
    1965, extended and updated edition.

Book of 1981                                                               Book of 1991

Unfortunately, my two books are already out of print. Become on the internet on eBay my books are offered again and again, Unfortunately, I do not know another place where my books can still be found.

This is exactly how it is with the individual Riefler precision pendulum clocks and individual ones
Riefler pendulum, these are only rarely available for sale.

Two small corrections to my book from 1991:

On page 133, left third row from the top must read instead of +, - 236,5553611 s / d.
On page 32, top left, line 13 and page 63, paragraph 6 below, it must be called better instead
Power lever of 0.01 N, double drive lever with a bearing weight on the escapement wheels of 1 g.

Unfortunately I notice again and again that the name Riefler is used as unfair advertising in recent times and this is known to be prohibited. I will take legal action against it in the future.

The names Riefler and Sigmund Riefler are also protected. Unfortunately I have after issuing a Riefler clock information ever experienced a nasty surprise, that's me only to a limited extent ready to provide information. I ask for your understanding.

Where else can you look at Riefler products:

Zirkel: In the Deutsches Museum in Munich in the department  Mathematical instruments.

Clocks: In the German Museum in Munich in the department of time measurement.

This extensive Riefler precision watch exhibition is back in good condition and all watch types
are in operation. Not in operation are the Riefleruhr no. 1 and 38, the unfortunately not in the timekeeping department but in front of the entrance to the astronomy department. A tower clock from the company J.

The German Clock Museum in Furtwangen is also a Riefler precision pendulum clock to see.

At this a note is attached with the following text:
